The Role

• First Level Active Directory Admin - Create modify, and delete user accounts, groups, computer accounts, organisational units (OUs), and other objects in the directory service database.
• Layer 1 & 2 Network Management – VLAN management, port management, device connectivity troubleshooting.
• Microsoft Azure – basic day to day admin of resources groups.
• Demo and Proof of Concept Management – ownership demo, experience, and POC management/maintenance.
• Support AV and take ownership of issues.

Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge:

• Previous experience in provisioning and racking of hardware.
• Understanding of Layer 1 & 2 Network Operations (installing and configuring switches, and VLANs etc.).
• Good experience with Windows Server Admin, Active Directory, Windows Server Operating Systems.
• Strong experience working on scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills (Hardware, OS).
• Working experience with server, network, and storage deployments.
• Good understanding of TCP, IP, and other network protocols.
• Familiarity with DNS, DHCP and other network services.

Good to have:

• Understanding of Cloud Computing (e.g., Azure).
• Understanding of data center infrastructure and virtualization.
• Knowledge of Microsoft OS and Linux.
• Relevant industry standard qualification (A+, Server+, MCSE, CCNA, etc).
• Good communication, handling, and decision-making skills.
